Meet the Leadership Team


Shawn Archambault, President

Shawn has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, and he formed FluidEdge to bring expertise to executive teams of large and mid-size health plans and providers. He is focused on improving underlying economics through strategic and operational improvements with a concentration in business/IT strategic planning, vendor selections, implementation/upgrades of case management, provider data management and core claims administration systems. Shawn began his career in social work, so it was extremely important to him that FluidEdge would make a difference in people’s lives through FluidEdge Social Mission, a volunteer committee within the company that dedicates time, treasures and talent to the communities in which we serve. Prior to starting FluidEdge Consulting, Shawn worked for Independence Blue Cross (IBC), First Consulting Group and Johns Hopkins Medical Services Corporation. Shawn holds his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Maryland and his Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Mike Green, Managing Partner

Mike brings over 20 years of executive experience to FluidEdge. Having recently served as Senior-Vice President of Operations and CIO for Independence Blue Cross/Keystone/AmeriHealth in Philadelphia, Mike was responsible for multi-state operations, which included all back-office functions (including claims, customer service, enrollment, fulfillment and ancillary support functions), which provided service to over two million members and thousands of providers. He was also responsible for managing and instituting BPO and BPR strategy and implementation. As CIO, he successfully steered the company’s transition to a new multi-faceted processing platform. Mike was also responsible for advancing the enterprise-wide technical infrastructure and project lifecycle performance while improving overall quality and reducing costs. He created start-up operations and distinct systems in multiple locations including Texas, Florida and Delaware, and he developed full TPA capabilities for AmeriHealth Administrators, an un-branded subsidiary of Independence Blue Cross. Mike also successfully transitioned seven legacy systems onto a single core processing platform while managing hundreds of corporate IT initiatives, integrating new applications, new product development, cost containment, eCommerce and government mandates. He has worked closely with all leaders within the managed care industry, including actuary and underwriting, marketing/sales, finance, provider service and contracting and also led cross-functional strategic initiatives. He attended Post University and earned a CLU degree from The American College.

Scott Shohen, Partner, FluidEdge Life Sciences

Scott is an executive with extensive experience in leading strategic planning and business process initiatives for large, life sciences organizations. Scott works with life science companies to envision, architect and deliver results that help clients more effectively engage customers, increase revenue, and reduce operational and administrative costs. Scott began his career at Accenture where he led complex business and technology solutions, focusing much of his time working with pharmaceutical and health insurance clients. After becoming an Executive with Accenture, Scott helped grow a start-up organization into a successful and thriving healthcare industry-focused management consulting company over a ten year period. During this time, Scott was responsible for the development and management of several global life sciences clients. Much of Scott’s work has been in global commercial operations of large pharmaceutical companies with a focus on projects in digital and multichannel marketing, promotional operations, training, customer engagement and salesforce automation. Prior to his work in life sciences, Scott spent many years consulting with large health payers and pharmacy benefit managers while working on initiatives to improve operational efficiency to reduce medical and administrative costs. It is this unique blend of healthcare experience that provides Scott with a holistic approach to delivering value to his clients. Scott holds his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his Master of Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia.
