Mike Green, Managing Partner

Mike brings over 20 years of executive experience to FluidEdge having recently served as Senior-Vice President, Operations and CIO for Independence Blue Cross/Keystone/AmeriHealth in Philadelphia, PA. Mike was responsible for multi-state operations, which included all back-office functions including Claims, Customer Service, Enrollment, Fulfillment and ancillary support functions providing service to over 2 million members and thousands of providers. He also had responsibility for managing and instituting BPO and BPR strategy and implementation. He was appointed CIO and successfully steered the company’s transition to a new multi-faceted processing platform. Mike was responsible for advancing the enterprise-wide technical infrastructure and project lifecycle performance while improving overall quality and reducing costs. In addition to the responsibility for all enterprise-wide systems, Mike also created start-up operations and distinct systems in multiple locations including Texas, Florida and Delaware. Mike developed full TPA capabilities for AmeriHealth Administrators an un-branded subsidiary of Independence Blue Cross.

Mike began his career in customer service and led the transformation of the company from last to first in all major performance indices. He was promoted rapidly, assuming responsibility for IT and all back-office functions. He led an organization of over 3,500 employees and managed a budget of over $180M.

Mike was responsible for successfully transitioning seven legacy systems onto a single core processing platform while managing hundreds of corporate IT initiatives integrating new applications, new product development, cost containment, eCommerce and government mandates.

Mike served on all key senior management leadership teams and was ultimately appointed Chair of the Corporate Strategy Development Team along with Membership and Accounting responsibility.

Mike has an extensive healthcare insurance background. He has worked closely with all leaders within the managed care industry, including Actuary and Underwriting, Marketing/Sales, Finance, Provider Service and Contracting and also led cross-functional strategic initiatives. He attended Post University and earned a CLU degree from the American College.
