Sean White

Sean has over 18 years experience as a senior manager across several industries including 12 years within the Healthcare Industry, with experience managing both applications development and technical architecture groups. 

Sean began his career in the United Kingdom with British Waterways where he worked for 12 years, including 6 years managing an IT/IS Services department, which included responsibility for oversight of large infrastructure Projects. 

He moved to the US in 2000 and spent 8 years with Philadelphia based Independence Blue Cross (IBC) in various senior positions, including Director, Managed Health Care systems where he managed a large applications department and was the overall IS project manager for a project to consolidate all IBC’s claims processing onto a single platform.  This was a multi-year project with over 150 full time IS/IT resources. 

For the last 4 years, Sean has been working for FluidEdge and has worked on a number of diverse projects, including:

• ICD-10 Program Manager, which includes managing a number of initiatives and providing oversight for the enterprise ICD-10 implementation for a mid-Atlantic Blues Plan.
• Key participant in the implementation strategy development of an enterprise-wide testing strategy for a large mid-West Blues Plan
• Program Manager for a Healthcare Software Vendor implementing a Provider data management solution
• Implementation of new core record keeping system for Vanguard Charitable Endowment Program.
• The build of a new Tier 2+ data center for Colorcon, a pharmaceutical company.

Sean attained his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of London and his Masters in Business Administration from Middlesex University prior to moving to the United States.
